Our GIS Laboratory is equipped with 28 state-of-the-art workstations, enabling students to complete assigned GIS and spatial analysis projects using the most up-to-date GIS software. The laboratory has a 44-inch printer that enables students and faculty to print out large maps and posters for conferences and other presentations. In addition, we have twenty WAAS-capable Garmin GPS receivers to support faculty and student field research in South Florida and beyond.
When not occupied by classes, our GIS laboratory can be used for research. Use the current schedule to see when the laboratory is available for research.
