Carrie Stokes has worked for more than 25 years in international development and the environment. She is the first Geographer of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), headquartered in Washington, DC. She established and directs the USAID GeoCenter, which applies geographic analysis to development programming.
Come and join us for this virtual GISday to explore how to use mapping innovations to mitigate effects and improve response in times of crisis or pandemics, hear professors, professionals and practitioners discuss how they apply spatial thinking in their work environment, and engage with presenters.
